Seems like I am frequently interested in mysql queries to perform certain functions or obtain data. I try to search for them first, which is sometimes successful, sometimes not.

Would it be feasible to create a sub-forum in IP.Board Help called 'Popular SQL Queries' (or whatever), where all of these could be centralized?

I suggested this because I am interested in learning, and prefer being self-sufficient (as opposed to having to ask all the time). Sql queries are spread throughout this forum, so it's not feasible to move them into this newly created sub-forum.

Bare (or is it bear ?!?) with me though... users here will frequently ask what query to run, say in a modification discussion, and rather than the poster replying directly with the query, he would post the query in the new sub-forum, appropriately titled and described, as a new topic. He would then reply to the original question, linking to his new topic rather then typing out the query. Everyone wins, and this query is now centrally located for all to benefit from. wink.gif
